Gymnastics

Ems started gymnastics a few weeks ago and LOVES it!  I know these pictures are far away, but my lens is not capable of getting closer.  Christmas gift anyone???

Painting Day

Unfortunately, I do not get the paints out as often as I should.  I am somewhat of a neat freak, and the mess that painting typically makes, sends chills up my spine, and makes the hairs on my arms stand up.  BUT, I vow to make messes for often!  Because they are only young once!

A Swimming and A Walking

I officially have a swimmer and a walker!  Ems started swimming really well when we went to the beach back in July.  She has been swimming w/o floaties but not really well.  She is getting better every day.  Ben also began walking on that same beach trip, go figure.  Its so much fun to watch them gain new skills!

I walk like Moses

I walk with my Bubble Wand

I walk to the tunes of Roger Day (a little out of focus, i know)

What Takes Up My Time

This is where I spend the few hours I have while the kids are asleep in the morning.  I LOVE it!

Foley Hot Air Balloon Festival 2011

I cannot believe that I have not posted with pics from the Hot Air Balloon Festival.  The pics are not all that great (the real view is breath-taking!).

Here we are at our favorite milkshake dive.  Stacey Drugs in Foley Alabama.  (Some of you have probably heard us mention this place before!  :) )

Ben's very first milkshake experience!

The first day of the festival, we woke the kids up at 4:30 and drove to Foley, only to find out the weather was not cooperating.  So, we headed to the beach!

Ben is all boy!  Here he is trying to crawl after the big tractor that was smoothing out the sand

We did stop back bay to watch the Amazing Frisbee catching dogs!

That night we were able to see the Night Glow at the festival.  Here they are getting one ready for tethering.

The next day, we headed to the field at 5am (which means we woke the kids up at 4:30), and waited, hoping for better luck!

Then they all topped the trees...

It was beautiful to watch 47 balloons in the air that morning.  One landed in the field where we were watching.

And, we might have had one more milkshake that day....

We headed for home that afternoon, and this was the scene before we even hit the interstate...
What a FUN trip!
