Christmas

We bought a groupon for ice skating.  Ems had so much fun.  It was not the best place for taking pictures, so this is all I was able to capture.  I wish you could have witnessed this trip!

We attended the McWane Center's membership Christmas party.  We love, love, love, this place and I am thrilled about the new Children's Museum that will be completed in 2013!  Anyway.  Troy came with us this particular evening and the kids enjoyed showing him all of their favorite things.

After a little play, the kids were allowed to ice their own cookie.

Three inches of icing later...

We bought Emily training wheels for her birthday, for a bike that was given to her.  She has really enjoyed riding at the park.  Her legs have gained strength too!  Not sure why her helmet is not on her head...

This little park is only .75 miles from our house, and we go here often.

On this particular day, Ben would have rather been at home...

These pictures got all out of order somehow and I cannot determine an efficient way to move them around.  Moving on, this is Christmas Day.  Buddy the Elf and his beautiful wife came for breakfast and presents!

We did not feed him pancakes with syrup-candy-and poptarts, but he seemed to enjoy the bacon, biscuits, fruit, and bfast casserole.

Christmas Day Service at church - JOY - Jesus First, Others Second, and Yourself last

We made a Strawberry birthday cake for Jesus. Yum!

Christmas Eve at the Ross's, with one sick kiddo

Hot Chocolate was almost a daily ritual for these two during the Christmas Season!

Emily DID get the umbrella she had been asking for, for over 3 months!  Ben enjoyed his trains and helicopters.

Reading the Christmas Story, in 21st Century Style

Terrible picture, but we enjoyed one very stormy day making Christmas Cookies with friends!

Ben, LOVES Grandma! And isn't he handsome!

Cousins!

Emily cracked me up playing with the nativity scene and angels at Meme's

Final Scene - All the angels from the house were gathered around Jesus for a Heavenly Host Choir!

Annual - "we waited too late to attempt this picture and one or more children will NOT cooperate"

Our library had a fun day of donuts making ornaments, etc.

Fancy Nancy Came Too

So did the Mariachi Band

And Santa

At the Stinsons, they decided, the week of Christmas, that the kids should put on a play of the Christmas story.  So, Ems ended up memorizing Luke 2:1-7 in 3 days.  She did an awesome job!  And was a precious Mary.

One morning, we splurged and went to KK.

And got a tad silly.  Blame it on the sugar!  ;)

Our annual "ZooLights" night!

The week after Christmas, our Stinson cousins came up for a trip to McWane.  What a fun time!
