Day 297 - 304 (10/24-10/31)

Warning LONG Post!

Day 297 - My girl.  Making a card for her friend.  Her Aunt and Uncle  gave her a card sewing set, and she has enjoyed learning to stitch a little.  I love watching her concentrate!

Day 298 - Garage fun.  Quick update.  Ben is officially unafraid of his bike now and riding like a pro.  Emily is a speedster on her bike and starts and stops on her own.  Norah, is a cutie pie, and likes to be in on the action.

Day 299 - Apple Orchard!  We went to an apple orchard in Jemison, AL and picked our own apples!  I can't wait to go back next year!

Troy looks all tired out here, but Nori is happy!

Day 300 - Fall Festival and our friends church.  Always a fun event!

Ben went as happy Batman!

Nori and happy Leopard

Emily was Belle

Day 301 - Nori is officially walking.  Only taking 10-15 steps at a time, but loves it!  She also loves to slide, all by herself!

More biking fun!

Day 302 - Emily is studying Ancient Greece and the Mycenaean.  Here she made a Mycenaean shield and helmet.

Then we headed to the pumpkin patch in Harpersville.  I forgot my camera, so these are all from my phone.

Day 303 - Painting and carving pumpkins.  A favorite!  I always tell the Pumpkin Patch gospel when we carve.  They love to watch!

Sweet Bobers!

Day 304 - Halloween.  We made sugar cookies for our neighborhood block party, and tried our  hand at caramel apples.

Buzz and his pumpkin!

Belle and her rose

sweet neighbor friends!

 Running, Skipping, jumping to trick-or-treat

At the end of the evening, we looked like this...

and the apples looked like this.  Why did all the caramel melt off???
