Norah - 18 Months

My sweet Norah turned 18 months at the end of January. She is growing so fast, and not a baby anymore.  Since she is probably our last, I am grieving this unauthorized growing a bit more than with Emily and Ben.   She is such a sweet girl, and can melt you heart with her smiles.
Norah is very independent, no surprise there. She does not want you to feed her, help her drink, and rarely wants help putting shoes on.  She can do it all by herself just fine, thank you.  She has just recently become interested in books.  I think she mostly did not like to be read to because she had to sit still.
Norah is passionate about everything.  Since she is our third, she typically just yells to get your attention.  I was so good at signing with the olders, but have not been very diligent with Norah.  She signs: "more, all-done, please and milk", that's about it.  She has begun to say quite a bit more.  When she calls for Hyde she squats down and says "Hyde ome (come)" and makes a kissy noise like we do.  She says "uh-oh" a lot, I will explain that later.  When leaving she says "bye-bye" mmmmwah (as she blows a kiss).  Of course "mama, dada, diapa, kak-kak (duck), sissy, bubba, poppa (poppy), ba (ball), baba (bubbles), bu (bird), awnt THAT (for anything she really wants), HOT baybe (baby)", and a few more I am sure.
Inquisitive - Norah gets into everything.  Everything. She loves to play in Hydes food, the toilet, the pantry (if we leave the pantry cracked by accident, she knows, and comes from where ever she is in the house to get in there and get out cheeze-its and chew a hole in the box, then through the bag to get some, after she gets a bowl, she politely pours herself a snack, then feeds most of it to Hyde (they have a contract).  The she takes the same bowl and uses it to scoop water out of the toilet to drink from.  Then she pulls toilet paper off the roll and puts it in the toilet.  The entire time she is saying "uh-oh" because she knows shes a stinker.
Knows what she wants  - If she is thirsty she goes to the cabinet picks out a cup and the correct top and brings it to you.  She has done this for quite a while now.

Norah Lou, we love you so much.  You bring so much joy into this house.  We are enjoying all of the smiles and laughter you bring and look forward to watching you grow.
She did not like her shots at the doc.  The Doctor stats were: Weight 21lbs10oz (10%) and thats all I remember folks.  Pretty terrible!  :)

Yep, eating...you got it...all by herself.

Sometimes she keeps a bow in her hair.  She loves Poppy!

She wants to do anything her brother is doing!

My beautiful angel

At Mawmaws hamming it up!

At 5am one morning.  I would have been frustrated but then she smiled...

Every now and then you can catch her being still..but it is rare...and it is usually in the arms of this man...
