So, we bit the bullet and added a fireplace. This makes my husband so happy!!!

we have a tradition to always go to O'Henrys coffee the week before Christmas and get hot cocoa and a fresh chocolate chip cookie. Love this tradition!

Christmas for us means spending time with each other and focusing on others rather than ourselves. We love to do angel trees and Compassion Shoeboxes, not t glorify ourselves but to teach and instill in the children how much we have and how much we can give to those who have next to nothing. We make special (no buying anything for ourselves trips) to do this hoping that they will really see what it is like to stop thinking of our wants/needs for one hour! Man do we forget how much we are blessed. And lastly our other tradition is to spend Christmas Eve at church and then at The Ross's for Christmas Eve dinner then come home and open new PJ's for Christmas night!!
