Emily has been sick this week, so we have stayed home, mostly. We have spent our days painting, using sidewalk chalk, shucking corn, putting puzzles together, reading a million books, weeding the garden, etc., etc...
We did take one day to go over to Cheryl's to swim. We had a ton of fun, and probably blessed Cheryl with a cold, but she loves us, so she doesn't care.
Of course, we have also found tons of nature things to aggravate! Tuesday we were fascinated with a Luna moth, today, we found this beetle bug. He was quite animated. When we would touch his back, he would wave his clawed hand at us, as if to say "watch it, I will use these on you!" (you can see his tactics in the second picture).
Emily is in the habit of huggin Ben these days and saying "awe mom, take a picture of this". It cracks me up every time, and, of course, I take a picture...
