We Have A Fish

We have a fish on our hands...

We went to the Gardendale Splash Pad Friday, ad Ems let me put her hair in pigtails... Isn't she precious??

She initially did not want her face to get wet, but quickly got over that.
They also have a great park area.
To prove Ben was there, and to show you what I had to do to get Ems to wear pigtails. Do I look 16?

And my girl, who was not wanting to take a picture.

Yummy water?

She is growing so fast!
Sunday we went to the Ross's for a little more swim time...can you tell she is in the deep end?She wanted Nate and Troy to slide, of course, they obliged

Then she wanted to go down with daddy, but did not want to go under. Can I just say that that man of mine has some pretty awesome strength! Watch this...

Down they go (notice her eyes are covered, mostly)...
Almost there... Success...

Then today a sweet gal at our church invited our preschool mom to come over and swim with our children. We had a blast!

It thundered a little so the kiddos watched a movie for a little bit. Thanks Adrianne for letting us come over! It was so much fun!And just b/c these Hydrangea's make me happy...As promised, here is a picture of the finished product. Details: The red and green fish is Emily's hand print. The Blue fish is Ben's foot print. The crab is made from my thumb print, and the bubbles are made from Emily's index finger.
