Emily and I drove to Ozark last Thursday to spend some, much needed, time with my grandmother (Emily's "meme"), and my parents. Emily had so much fun! She loved saying "Meme", and would greet her every morning with a perfect enunciation of her name. She loved being at meme's house; the sun room, pop-pop's fish, being outside and picking wildflowers, kissing the camel, and, of course, meme's oatmeal cookie's, which she promptly asked for any chance she got!
On Saturday we drove to Auburn for Catherine's 5th birthday party. Emily enjoyed the playground, all of the attention, and the CAKE, which she kept asking for "more" of...
If you look close, you can see my mom under the bridge, through the holes. Emily thought this was so much fun, finding grandma underneath.
She did so well, so did Hyde, the entire weekend. She has asked for Meme several times today, and I know she misses her. She misses Poppy and Grandma too, but has not been able to nail down Grandma yet. :(
