Since summer began, Emily and I have tried to get together with our friends on a regular basis. A few weeks ago, we tried a new water park in Gardendale, AL. Unfortunately, the weather decided to turn against us and it was cloudy and 67 degrees that day. The kids still enjoyed the water a little bit, and they loved the playground part of the park.
This is a little girl that made "friends" with Emily right away.

Two weeks ago, we headed to the zoo for a fun-filled visit, including lunch and a respite in the water park area there.
