Day 210-211 (7/30-7/31)

Day 210 - So we took a little road trip.  Troy was scheduled to be at the beach for 4 days last week and he asked if we would drive down.  Sure you might think (free hotel, free food for him, no brainer right??).  Well, it entailed a short little 8-10 hour drive by myself with the kiddos, since hubs would be flying there, of course.  But after telling myself over and over that I could do it; and after a trip to the library with 4 movies, 4 audiobooks, and after printing road scavenger hunts, etc., off we went!!

We set out at 5:30am on Tuesday, made it to Brundidge before we had to go potty, then stopped in Ozark for Nori to nurse, and to stretch our legs.  We then made it 2 more hours and stopped at this rest area for lunch.  Then the rest of the way was smooth sailing.  The kids were amazing, there and back.  We tackled 19 hours on the road, 4 hours of movies, 8 hours of audiobooks, and the rest was spent talking and doing scavenger hunts.  I don't plan to do this again tomorrow, but it was actually a pleasant time with the kids.

Day 211 - Toes in the sand, sand castles to build, shells to collect, sunsets to watch, ahhh, I love the beach!
